Foo might be looking long term and what he doesn't know won't hurt him , but the oilers shouldn't be. They should be looking 3 year elc term and hoping he can produce great value for those 3 years and if things work out great. If not he got to pad his value with 97 and hopefully some deep playoff hockey. Key for oilers will be getting guys like foo that hopefully are good value contracts and keep cycling them out when they become to expensive.
