So far in developmental camp,

Mcdonough, Klimovich, Karlsson and Bains look like they have a shot at having a career in the NHL.

I hope Linus Karlsson break the odds and continue to develop well and become a solid 3C for the Canucks. Love his attitude and work ethic towards the game.
“I want to do as many things as I can,” said Karlsson. “If I’m going to play PK or five minutes every game in the NHL, I’m gonna do that. I play where the coach tells me to play."

I think with the sedins and samuelsson's guidance, and his strong work ethic to learn, there's no doubt he will make the NHL.

The 3 guys outside of Klim shouldn't even be there based on age/experience.

They should be dominating/standing out, I wouldn't put much stock in it.

McD and Karlsson are almost 23 and Karlsson has been playing against men for like 5 years.

What they do in the AHL will be a lot more telling.

Based on their careers thus far they are still long-shots., Klimovich seems to be on track but will need to take a step as well.

There is always that long shot that emerges once in a blue moon.

Alexandre Burrows is an obvious example. He did not play his first NHL game until he was like 24/25.

Highly unlikely but if you look at Karlsson's last season he was 2nd on the team in scoring and put up more points than former NHL players on that team.

If the work ethic is good and he can be defensively reliable there is no harm in him being a budget 3rd/4th center. He is the most likely to have a chance imo.

Klimovich numbers look terrible, but maybe he got limited ice time? I am not sure. Bains put up great numbers in the WHL at 21.... so you can't put much stock in that. He is playing against kids,

Mcdonough I never heard of to be honest with you.

You always hope for that late bloomer but the odds are not in their favor obviously.

J.T. Miller’s agent discusses Canucks future: ‘There’s a realistic path for an extension’

lol if he stays, does that mean horvat is gonna get traded? or are we gonna keep em all? A lot of combo's Bruce can use

Pearson - Miller - Garland
Mikheyev - Pettersson - Boeser
Kuzmenko - Horvat - Podkolzin
Joshua - Lazar - Lockwood

Dickinson
Hoglander back to AHL to develop a more complete game since waiver exempt?

lol no chance Hoglander starts in the AHL, Canucks fans have become so strange with Hoglander for no reason.

I don't know how it'll go in the locker room if Miller's fat UFA contract forces a Horvat trade, even though it's probably a good idea based on what Bo is going to demand

A lot of reason actually, Johnson, Cull and even Hansen felt Hoglander needed some time to develop in the AHL to learn the complete game, but Benning rushed him into the NHL like he did with all other 1st/2nd rd guys with potential to be more than a bottom 6 player in the NHL.

He had a rough season, and he's definitely bound to bounce back, but it'll be tough for him to do that if he's playing on the 4th line or rotating in and out in the top 9.

He struggled offensively since Bruce took over, and lost his trust. Not only offensively, but he has been terrible without the puck as well, and looked lost af. He was definitely one of the players that struggled the most after Dickinson.

It's weird because he didn't look out of place in his rookie season and won as many board battles like Pearson, and was awesome even when he wasn't scoring. He had twice as many takeaways than giveaways and just looked dominant when he didn't have the puck. However with Bruce, he was often out of position, lose his guy and they score, and this is while playing less minutes and being sheltered..

Looking at the extra bodies upfront, trade is much more likely to happen. However, if nobody is moved, i wouldn't be surprise that they send hogs down to develop on the 1st line in the AHL with the sedins since this regime is all about developing players properly. I mean they can definitely send Lockwood down again, and play Hogs with Lazar/joshua or dick but damn that's meh.

Virtanen found not guilty of sexual assault.

Gross defence that his lawyers pulled

Sadly expected, they had no concrete evidence to prove that he's guilty. It's basically his words VS hers and it's not good enough to deem him guilty.

Only she and virtanen will know what really happened that night, lots of questionable shit from both sides but whatever

An actual conviction was a long shot but at least the rep should stick to him.
