Good point haha.

The cost for taking on bad contracts was extremely high this off season.

Glad he did not take a hit that big. Not worth it.

Would you prefer Benning to get a top 6 player to play alongside horvat or dman for depth?

Ideally I would like them to get a physical defender who can handle the teams top opposition.

Edler is going to likely begin to decline rapidly and will retire soon. There is going to be cap space coming off the back end soon so I think it is possible to bring another solid d-man somewhat soon.

We lost some defenders to free agency as well so imo shoring up the defense is a bigger worry.

Still have a dream of getting Cernak somehow lol. He would fit in well.

Need D help for sure. One of Hughes or Schmidt go down and we're fielding AHLers while either riding Edler to death or giving Myers minutes he can't handle.
