Since the season is now over, we just find out that Bergeron was dealing with a groin issue in the finals. I'm sure this isn't breaking news to any Bruins fans.
We could all tell that wasn't really superstar Bergeron that we know. He wasn't a presence on offense or defense and really hurt the team more than helped
I am well aware of how elite O'Reilly is at faceoffs, but I have never seen Patrice look that terrible in faceoffs. That was so hard to watch. Losing 7-8 in a row....that's obviously not him.
Unfortunately, his injury made him just another player in this series. No injuries excuse for anyone else other than Chara.
