The Bruins need to find a way to unload Backes and mix up the top 2 lines. They were so bad in the playoffs. They still managed to force game 7 with negative production from the top 2 lines.
7 games with your top line getting murdered. That's quite impressive if you ask me.
Pasta -7? Oh my.....

Moving Krug and Backes gives you all the room you need for major improvements. Krug should fetch a good return too.
Fix that and they have a good opportunity of getting right back there.

I am quite excited about the upcoming moves.

Getting Backes off of the salary cap would be huge
Only way we keep Krug is if he takes a discount, we can live without him because of Gryzlyck 😎

Krug did what he had to for his time as a Bruin

Neither side owes the other anything imo

elite corsi

Grzelcyk will fill his role, he's proven himself

Krejci has two yrs left on his contract and it's now modified no movement

I think for him it would give him an opportunity to play for a nice nhl retirement team like the panthers or coyotes which would be more willing to give him a contract for a few more years if he can fill a veteran role

We're going to need to look at bringing in new centers

Maybe Krejci will be affordable when his contract is up 👀👀👀
Maybe a rough contract year can kill his stock

Yea it's sad, but I think he may go sooner rather than later

the absolute ineffectiveness of the top two lines in the finals was a major indicator

I understand if he gets traded before his contract is up, he's getting paid pretty heavily. And they're not giving him the support on wing that he's supposed to have. :(
He was the best of our big 5 in the finals believe it or not, though they all sucked 😂😭
