wasnt this guy supposed to be a really good college prospect at one point?
looks like he got sick of playing in the ahl lol

Ah he couldn’t break through, sort of a bust. Also he wanted to play for China so he could play for their Olympic team.

he was really bad to start the year, looked downright lost on the ice.

a combo of health, confident goaltending, and having the worlds best defensive partner to bail him out in parayko made him solid

im worried about him next year though. hes good at shutting top lines down but doing anything else is tough, so he prob shouldnt play 24min a night, more like 18

Flames are not signing maroon when they are down to the penny to fit MT , riddick amd Bennett under the cap
