Pregame ceremony brought some great memories back. They had gagne, simmonds and jake say a few words real cool to see.

yeah and briere when giroux first came to philly he lived with briere for a bit that musta hit the feels

a lot of people feel like tippet is a bust hoping the flyers can give him some elevated ice time and turn him into something
guy sounds like a goal scorer which is something we really need and hes got good stats in the ahl but hasnt done much in the nhl
but he averaged about 12min a season all 3 seasons for the panther when he did play flyers can probably get him playing more then that unless he really is that bad lol
sucks the 1st is in 2024 but at least we got a 1st out of it

Didnt get a chance to watch today, but few twitter reactions, tippett didnt look bad

Just under 15min TOI, and got a bit of PP time and a couple shots on goal.
We’ll see how it plays out. Sucks to hear G only wanted to go to fla, when it sounds like colorado’s offer was better

theres rumours the bruins and rangers had interest too so yeah it sucks but hey 1 team is better then him saying no teams and walking and we get nothing
even iftippet busts we still got a 1st+3rd and we are in a great position to give tippet the opportunity to not bust
but yeah i looked up his stats in all of his nhl games in florida he averaged like 11:30-12:10 of toi so if we can gve him more toi it might help elevate his play
im going to watch the game soon but kinda lold nhl.com is all like " flyers win 1st game since trading giroux".... its the 1st game the played after the trade they act like they were on a 10 game losing streak

It's also a conditional pick, with the condition being that Florida has the option of giving the Flyers' their 2025 first rounder instead if the 2024 first-round pick lands in the top 10 of the Entry Draft.

The departures of Bunnaman and Rubtsov bring the Flyers down to 46 of a maximum 50 NHL contracts for the rest of the 2021-22 season. This opens the door for the Flyers to have slots available for all three among collegiate prospects Bobby Brink, Ronnie Attard and Noah Cates to turn pro and be signed to NHL entry-level contracts before the end of this season.

for the captain id assume provorov or maybe farabee possibly atkinson? maybe ellis? idk how they are in the room maybe like provy C atkinson+ellis As
i havnt finished the game im late in the 2nd but so far tippet has looked pretty good he was very noticible in the first period

that kinda sucks hes only a 4th line guy but he plays with a lot of energy and seems way better then willman who we kept instead
