nice to see them get the first win under yeo, i hope they can try to make something of this season :/

same im really worried to see what giroux does if we dont at least make the playoffs if were not a playoff team trading him at the deadline isnt super unrealistic unless he signs an extension you gotta try to not lose a guy like that for nothing
they gotta salvage some points and wins until ellis is back and hopefully he sticks around this time and the team can go on a big streak and catch up

but that win should be a big confidence booster first win for yeo couts+jvr both broke their goal slumps hayes got one and we got 2 ppg for the first time since game 3 giroux setting the franchise record for ppp
they still gave up 44 shots though which is a lot but hart is looking strong so that helps make that not as concerning as long as he keeps playing good and they can score a couple goals the wins will come

missed 1st part of the game and skipped it so im rewatching it now the teams looking better under yeo thats for sure
JJ said allison played 2 games with the phantoms and looked good we could see him called up soon
farabee also skating in a non contact jersey

imagine a line with allison and macewen lol the speed and energy they play with i feel like they would be in the offensive zone so much

oh it was a great game today i was really excited to see how it ended.

i honestly think if they cant make something out of the season that they need to do G a favor and let him go IF HE WANTS TO.
that guy has done nothing but do his absolute best for this team and hes owed a shot if he wants one.

i think there problem is like its always been, and its showing without elis in (hope i dont butcher names haha)
but at the same time you need a team that's going to step up when things like this happen and now we are seeing something along those sorts.

they need to settle down and just play hockey. dont try to do to much don't get to crazy with a system or plays or whatever.
simple hard hockey thats what they need to get back to and build upon that.

if they can get a win streak together they can negate the slump that they have hit this season and they have a roaster that can put wins together.

well the thing is when yeo took over they were in the middle of like 5 or 6 games in 7 nights or something like that
they are starting to actually getsome practice in under him now and that should improve the teams structure
but so far i like what yeo has done with the lines hes got offense clicking and he brought a lot of guys out of slumps

and giroux..man i wanna keep him i think if were a healthy team we can contend for a cup but they gotta stay healthy
but if he doesnt wanna stick around we have to trade him at the deadline you cant lose a guy like that for nothing that kinda shit destroys teams
hes really put fletcher in a situation with the contract saying hes not talking contracts til after the season and a NMC hes got all the control so its up to him really

i want giroux to be a flyers lifer but if he wants to leave to go for a cup i cant say i blame him i dont have a whole lot of faith in fletcher as a GM or comcast ceo scott as the teams owner or holmgren as PHO

i was worried when we lost Snider what would happen because he held everyone to a standard that he brought when he first came into that organization and that has kind of been lost
and what i worried would happen i think is happening. i think its all about the $ up top more then it has ever been before.
i love G i will always love G and thats why i say if he wants to go let him go, he has given his blood sweat and tears to this team but if he wants to stay dont force him out... let him play and bleed black and orange.
fletch has always been an interesting choice to me and you had things still happening from hextalls era that he was trying to undo or redo and that always causes issues.
i think yeo now that he has had time with the team understand what needs to be done. the fans the city the league everyone is talking bad and hes trying to change that. and i think he might be on a good path.

but as always time will tell, and players get hurt or are healthy players play have good games and bad games and theres 40+ guys going through that every time you drop the puck for a game.

well so far i dont see a reason to not keep yeo the more coaches he hires the more $$ the team owes and the worse he looks and the teams winning so far and like you said we have seen this combo before in minnesota lol
i was pumped when we all these veteran coaches but maybe it was just 3 egos or different styles clashing or too many voices in the room so having just yeo and an assistant like laps from in house to support and fill the gaps could be better in the long run

i said the same thing!!!! when they got av mt and yeo i was like "here we gooooo 50 years hc exp behind the bench" and now im saying i wonder if it was too much ego. to many voices in that office trying to dictate whats going on.

its nice to see them on a lil bit of a win streak and to pull a nice 6-1 w out as well. cams back in action which really put a lot of energy into the team early on in the season. jvr seems to be going. G is looking well. Coots needs to get going and oskar... man oskar it was so nice to see him score the other day.

i think they can turn it around but they just have to keep pushing back against the adversity and get thru it.
