McDavid is arguably the best player in the game ( I personally have Crosby over him still ) but you can't say he was the most valuable to his team when they finished bottom 10..

This makes no sense to me, haha. If McDavid is a better player than Hall, he helped Edmonton more than Hall did New Jersey, regardless of where they are in the standings.

Most valuable to a team =/= end of season standings.
Especially considering for each team, mcdavid has done more than others.

The wording is ambiguous.

being the mvp on a team doesnt mean shit if your team finishes bottom of the pack and has crappy players its a lot easier to be an mvp
hall is carrying his team to the playoffs wih out hall they are not even close that makes him mvp


if mcdavid could carry the oilers to the playoffs he prob wins in but he cant because your gm is trash and constantly puts together the worst team possible

if oilers cant make playoffs with mcdavid getting 105 pts your gm should be fired because thats fucked up be worried about that not mcdavid not winning the hart
