I totally think it's an experience issue.
I mean, no need for winter tires. All season or all weather work just fine.
Bc mountains is a different story.
it's a bit of that. Some ppl legit believe all season tires include winter as well, besides that though they're really fuckin dumb to not have winter tires when vancouver has been one of the coldest it's ever been and actually getting over 35cm of snow in a day.
I just don't understand their logic. Winter tires = $500 - 1k, it's too expensive, so im gonna roll the dice and potentially kill someone, or get into a multi car accident and increase my premiums so i end up paying more than 1k, and bitch at icbc!
nvm experience, it's pure stupidity. I literally see cars driving with 30+cm of snow on top of their roofs, windows, basically all covered and they only bothered to wipe off the driver side to see where they're driving ahead. It tells me that none of these drivers really shoulder check or give a fuck about blindspots.
RCMP pulled over 50+ cars for not clearing snow off their cars before driving. Like how the fuck does this even happen? The amount of people that lack common sense these days are very alarming.
