All G. Had to drive across town and found a triple A prime one at Costco. Gonna throw it on tonight and it'll be ready for BoA tomorrow

i think Costco also has wannabe wagyu, it's very cheap for the amount you get.
Restaurants here charge 32 for 2oz, and you gotta get a minimum of 4oz. So it's around $64 for only 4oz of wannabe shit.
Did the math, and for $300 from costco, you're getting 2.3k worth of it based on those prices lol.
But yeah, i think it's over-rated unless the wagyu is imported from Japan, they do some cray shit to them to make it worth $$$$$$$.

Was at "Ribeye". Some new butcher who opened up in st albert. $39.48/kg was the price on the wagyu brisket there. Priced out at 330$ looked to be in a Japanese cryobag. Never asked where they got it from.
Costco triple A is $9.99/kg and supposed to rival usda prime I hear. And much easier on the wallet. D'Arcy meat market is like 21$/kg and they can't verify which grade you get because they use local beef? Thought it was strange when I asked them. But everything there is very fresh never frozen
