it would definately play d2r and pretty much any new game coming out maybe not at high/ultra settings but you should have a decent pc for a couple years to game on
its slightly better then mine and im able to play pretty much every game thats out right now i struggle with a couple even on low settings like pubg but your gpu is better and should be able to play that too

and im pretty sure the cpu automatically boosts itself so you dont need to overclock but if you are tech savy enough you could probably OC it to the low-mid 4s steady which could future proof it a lot
but i watched a vid seems it like to go around the 3.8 range and if its super underload itll do 4.6 for a couple seconds then down to 3.8 again which seems pretty reasonable

rule #1 is never buy a pre build from bestbuy

I think you're much better off building it yourself buying the parts seperately because they'll at least be of quality, those prebuilds u listed usually add trash parts that can't sell on its own paired with 1-2 good parts.

and not everybody knows how to put together a pc and is willing to risk it
you also have to buy parts from 5 different sites going that route

while buying your own pc is usually better there is pros and cons to both
i know a person that spent like 2k on his pc and doesn't have a working pc because he doesn't know wtf hes doing and refuses to pay somebody to do it for him going prebuilt route woulda definately been a better option in his case

When ncix was around you could just pick parts and they would build it for you

there is ibuypower but its probably more expensive but you get to pick your parts and they put it together i believe
but yeah right now its tough cause gpus with crypto mining are a shit show even some people that know how to make pcs are buying prebuilts just to get their hands on a high end gpu
