I have been pretty lucky with high runes.

Back chest in Mephisto durance got me a Lo rune twice. Probably the best chest to loot in the game and some people still don't know about it or bother to do it lol.



Oddly enough looting the council with my goldfind barb seemed to get 2 high runes a season on average. Mind you I was playing quite a bit. Never got a Zod rune though. That is pretty well impossible playing legit.

all that farming for a rune that was like what, maybe 50fg after a week or two into the season though

I was just running the goldfind barb so I could gamble all the time. All of the other types of magic finding burned me out a long time ago.

Found some decent rares but never a holy grail item. For how much I played I probably should have.
