CRA can just clawback the money they weren't supposed to give from tax returns but idk if the Liberals will have the balls to do that.

When I was sick - unrelated most likely. At the end of March/beginning of April I was forced to quarantine for 10 days due to protocols put in place at work. But I never got cerb. I got paid regular ei for the 6 or so business days. Even though they claim they backdated cerb to like mid March or some shit.

Was a fucked up system to begin with. Every citizen should have just been given a lump sum instead of now having people still riding cerb refusing to go back to work.

you can't refuse work and just ride CERB, if you refuse hours you lose eligibility

employers are required to report who didn't go back to work, and once books are checked and things are combed through, it is not in ANY employers interests to lie about it

people who are abusing the system will get found, a lot of people will be in trouble next year

they also said flights from anywhere outside Canada would stop, including china. that was a lie.
they also said they'd close the border, including closing to "refugees" that was a lie.
they also said they'd be screening incoming travellors at airports for temperature and symptoms, that too was a lie!

there have already been reports of business's saying it is tough to re open because people are simply refusing to come back to work. there are many reasons which one can use to continue sitting at home while collecting cerb.

The hell? I never had to stay home from work. I do belive the bubble is fine. Theoretically anyways, which you agreed. Ya I'm jelly that people can stay home and get 2k a month. Because of a virus. And im working everyday since this started lol. Who wouldn't be.

Everyone who fill taxes can claim deductions and get applicable credits so if the government wants they can just do it the computerized bureaucracy way.
