was looking at the RFA list here -
https://www.capfriendly.com/rfas seems like a couple players could be targeted for offer sheets
$1,415,740 or less No compensation
$1,415,741 to $2,145,061 Third-round pick
$2,145,062 to $4,290,125 Second-round pick
$4,290,126 to $6,435,186 First and third-round picks
capfriendly says rangers have 2.2M with lafrenier as an RFA a team could offer him like 3-4m and try to steal him for a 2nd rounder or force the rangers to trade out cap and overpay him
edmonton in a similar situation with bouchard i haven't seen him play much but 18mins toi with 40 points that's looking like a 23 year old RHD 2nd pair guy
oilers only got 3.5 if a team offered something like 4ish oilers could be forced to figure something out
calen addison 23 year old RHD 16min toi 29 pts have no idea who this is but the wild have 1.6m cap space atm
i know its "bad mannered" but there seems like some pretty decent RFA out there that could potentially be yoinked for very reasonable picks I kind of wish we saw more offer sheets
teams could likely trade players out to clear cap but they might have to pay which adds more complications too if your one of the teams with cap offering maybe throw a 2nd offer like if you want to keep him give us this player and this pick to clear the space
Why has Anaheim not signed Zegras or Drysdale? It's not like they have cap issues. Seems weird.
