I think this is just a rumor. Giving that much away for a player that has butted heads with every coach and Manager in Buffalo.

Of course he is talented but he is a player with a severe injury. He may never be an effective player again and his contract is absolutely horrendous.

Furthermore he has recently hired notorious agent Pat Brison, who is only going to further fuel Eichel's already demanding attitude.

As a Canucks fan I hope this somehow turns out to be true. It would set the Flames back for years. Giving up that much for a player who will never play another game in Buffalo is laughable. Any team going after Eichel holds all the cards.

Buffalo is certainly not holding any cards. No need to give into whatever demands they are making.

Eichel is losing value every day he sits on the shelf. The pressure is on the Sabres and nobody else.

Treliving is not great on FA signings. Just ok at drafting. But very good at trading. I ain’t worried about this rumour.

Lol it would only make sense if Tkachuk isn't planning to sign with flames, but still doesn't make sense why buffalo didn't just accept the offer and ran away.
