All true, but I had Jason Kenney in mind. Cutting teachers, maxing out class sizes. All from a guy without a degree at all of course.

That being said, this was a good podcast recently on how Cambridge Analytica and Steve Bannon used conspiracy theories to radicalize people in 2016: https://podcasts.apple.com/ca/podcast/intelligence-squared/id708371900?i=1000459834043

Did not know you were speaking about Alberta in particular. I misinterpreted that.

Watched game 7 of the 87 cup final between the Flyers and Oilers.

Really entertaining hockey. Hardly any whistles in the 1st period and it is nice seeing hall of famers playing.

Hextall deserved the Conn Smythe. That was some unreal goaltending. He was ahead of the curve at the time with his ability to cut down angles and play the puck.

Jari Kurri with the game winner. The release/accuracy of that shot was ridiculous. I don't think there was any other player at that time that could get a shot off that quickly/accurately.

He was the first player to show such accuracy on one timers. Truly a one of a kind player.

Following that I watched the 2018 Predators vs Jets in ( I think the Western final) and holy shit has the game changed.

Players noticeably faster and bigger. Defensive systems and play strategies far more mechanized. Goaltender equipment way bigger and the standup style is completely gone.

What a difference.

There hasn’t been a case in Edmonton for days now. Calm down. Certain areas can open

All you fuckers living in fear.

I’ve been deemed essential and have had to work through this pandemic. If you’re too fucking scared to leave your house stay inside. Life goes on. You all want to bankrupt this nation it’s mind blowing.

The only reason to reopen is because the healthcare system has the capacity for a second wave. It's not because it's SAFE to re-open, the government has just deemed it a manageable risk.

Ease and restrict cycles to create saves of exposure and build herd immunity is likely the path forward. We have never had a successful Coronavirus vaccine before, and should hinge or recovery plan on the hope we develop one a year from now. The government strategy is controlled exposure and unfortunately at a macro-level that makes sense.

I've been deemed essential but can work 100% remote anyhow.
