Sens should trade for him to guarantee that 1st overall pick.

Harder to say given whatever team he goes to will be using him in a depth role.

I imagine he's not at the top of the priority list for a lot of buyers especially when you consider his cap.

Would be hilarious if he went to the Blues and they missed the playoffs anyways

Dreger on TSN 1050, regarding #Canucks potentially re-signing Pearson: "I think they will be [successful] in extending his contract to a two or three year term here in the very near future."

Yuck... I hope it's a friendly ~2.5m deal... Which I don't see happening. He will eventually be a 3rd liner by the time lolnux competes, and if he's still playing with horvat in the top 6 by then gg lol.

Very versatile forward though

unless it's pisslow cap hit, huge mistake to prioritize Pearson over the RFAs.

Signing Pearson won't get in the way of signing our RFA's, we have enough money for them even if he gets like 3M.

The problem is tying up money with Pearson when you have so many opportunities available in the off-season, especially considering how we still need to solidify the defense.

not really, we only have 12 players signed with 20M cap space. Hughes/Pettersson alone will take up most of that.
