Well shit, looks like lucic to nucks is a real possibility now...
Since Benning is pressured to trade him, unless he let's him rot in ahl.

apparently they were theorizing the leafs trade marleau to a team they buy him out then the sharks sign him to finish out his career there
This is a 35-plus contract and therefore the buyout has no effect on the players cap hit
so your team would be taking 6m cap hit and paying him 3m i believe for 1 year ....there ya go nucks put that cap space to work
