Sixers though the first three games of the season:

Embiid: 31 PPG / 10 RPG / 7 APG

Maxey: 30 PPG / 7 RPG / 6 APG

Harris: 20 PPG / 67% FG

Oubre Jr: 19 PPG / 50% FG

Nick Nurse making an immediate impact on these guys. 😳

is he being really liberal with them?

The difference between Nick Nurse coaching this team and Doc Rivers has been so noticeable through 5 games

The effort, hustle, actually passing and cutting, more team basketball from this squad on both ends of the floor has been very encouraging

It's craaaaazy how smooth they're playing. The off ball movement is something to watch. Such a change from Doc lol.

This has been an amazing home stand for the Sixers. We play a lot of home games early, which is going to lead us playing a ton of away games late in the season. From March 10 to April 7 of next year we play 12 out of 16 on the road. Going to be brutal second half in terms of travel fatigue. Thankfully we end the season with 3 straight home games.

It’s been a great start to the season. Was good to see Maxey have a decent offensive performance against Boston as he’s struggled with them in the past. Our new length helped on the defensive end for sure and made things a little tougher on Brown and Tatum. Getting contributions off the bench from batum and cov was huge

Adding those wings makes a major difference. Having guys that can make Tatum and Brown work.

Plus, Maxey's defensive improvements are so noticeable. Not sure anyone saw him becoming this much better on that end. He had guys in a blender a few times, and had that nasty chase down block on Jrue. He'll never be all-defense by any means, but it seems he's finally putting it all together and maximizing his ability on that end with his quickness and athleticism.

Yeah, I like the defensive schemes that Nurse has had Maxey in. It's helped improve his defense by simply having him in better positions than Doc did, plus the speed and athleticism as you said. The chase down was sick

And though it wasn't the most efficient offensive game from him especially from 3, it was effective and got the job done. Feels like his confidence is through the roof right now which is great
