Essentially, because Harden is on an expiring contract, if he holds out for more than 30 days and the team doesn't trade him at any point this season, the Sixers would have the ability to block him from becoming a free agent next summer. That 30 days starts when training camp opened.

Maxey, Beverly, and Spring looked good today. Springer looks like he could find himself playing a bit. Tough to get him minutes behind Harden (for now), Maxey, Melton, and Beverly but he deserves some time eventually.

It'll be great having Beverly on the team. Brings that tough Dawg defensive presence at the point of attack to be a pest.
