he was great in the regular season, pulled his usual vanishing act in the playoffs albeit did pop off a few games

Yeah he was very valuable regular season

Went off in two games in the playoffs, like absolutely dominant. But then he was completely useless in the others. His ceiling can be high, but his floor is as low as it gets. It's frustrating.

He scored 20points a game. Nobody cares how many asts he had. He no where close to being a #2 last season.

Bro...what?

He averaged 21 PPG on 61% True Shooting and a career best from 3pt%. You know what sort of efficiency he put up during his best days in Houston? 61-62% TS.

There's a reason why the Sixers absolutely rolled once he got healthy like 14 games into the season. They started the season 12-12, then Harden came back from injury and they went 42-16 the remainder of the season (and that's with Embiid, Harden, and Maxey all still missing large chunks of time too). Embiid and Harden combo was the best duo during the regular season.

The issue was NEVER regular season. They were flat out elite during the regular season. Harden's playmaking ability as a passer was second to none. Its the playoffs, second round, where the vanishing acts started to happen...

been saying this for a while now but it is even more relevant lately

if the 76ers were smart they'd cash in on a major pick haul from OKC, get whatever they can for Embiid + Harden and rebuild around Maxey + Holmgren

@wojespn "Free agent G/F Kelly Oubre Jr., is expected to sign a one-year deal with the Philadelphia 76ers, sources tell ESPN. Oubre — who averaged 20 points for Charlotte last season — could get significant opportunity on the wing with the uncertainty around James Harden."

Fan of this signing. Fit makes sense

I wonder how sixers gonna spin this to be the best signing for sixers over the past 5 years 8 days and 32 seconds.

Oubre isn't here to score or pass or rebound or defend
