Embiid could average 40 PPG and the league still wouldn't give it to him. He doesn't get the respect he's due but that's fine, he's having the best season of his career and continues to get better. We just want him to be healthy come playoff time. That's all that matters at this point after finishing 2nd in MVP voting the last two seasons. Embiid is the most dominant player in the league when hes healthy on the floor, on both ends, and that's all we want...healthy playoffs.

Rest him as much as needed, as long as he's good to go come playoff time.

I mean you talk as if they were playing against the same caliber defenses. Thr Mavs are like bottom 10 in Defensive Rating now lol. They also can't double Tatum much because the Celtics obviously have way more guys to worry about. Just not a very good comparison when the Celtics entire team defense can focus on stopping Luka.
