Yeah I haven’t liked what I have seen from Udoka at all so far
Our offense looks even worse and more stagnant now than it did under Stevens. Our defense is okay, I guess, but lack of rebounding and turnovers are killing us. Feels like 5 years ago again.
I’m giving benefit of the doubt to Jaylen, coming back from covid sickness and 10 day isolation after a 46 minute game must be hard. He killed it opening game but looked very, very tired tonight. Which is understandable. Tatum looks a lot slower and his handle of the ball is sloppy again - something he improved out of sight last year… looks like he’s regressed a bit at this stage
What is annoying though is that Udoka, like Stevens, is just allowing Marcus Smart to jack up the dumbest shots all game long as he usually does. I really thought a new coach might have put a leash on him and stopped him from doing that… nope. Same old Marcus thinking he’s Steph Curry
Loving Rob Williams so far. Everything about him has improved. His defensive footwork still isn’t great, but his recovery from being out of position and being able to effect shots looks unreal.
Can’t fucking stand Schroder. Hated him when he was an opposition player and I think I hate him even more now. He’s playing selfishly to try and earn a pay packet, it’s so obvious. Stagnant offensively, holds the ball way too long.
