4 weeks? Man this dude might not even play the rest of the playoffs. Sucks that he got injured while he was a Celtics. Dude is going to be cheaper on his next contract, which should be after next year right?

Think he's gonna get paid $$$.

Injury concerns aside, he's still one of the best free agents next year if he opts out considering the weak FA class. But if he wants to give us a hometown discount + Celtics/Stevens loyalty, he might give us a cheaper deal.

Yes, he should take more guaranteed money, but he could also figuratively do well next year, and get paid 4/100 the year after.

Also there is no way to tell what the cap space will look like next year.

He should get that long term contract now and not chance it for a few more millions imo..

He should, and he certainly doesn't owe us shit, but man if he leaves --- it would truly suck. That being said, he always said he wanted to win a championship with Stevens.

Like I love Kemba, but I'd rather keep GH over Kemba when both are healthy.
