Yup

Wayyyyy too reliant on winning from the FT line.

Also, this is the 76ers thread mate. You should know better than to talk jive in opposition fans threads.

The hermit crab abandoned his thread, as you once did yours. You know the rules, and so do I.

Trying to make Maxey a shot creator is silly, Doc is a putrid coach. They barely have any out of bounds plays or PNRs

PJ Tucker 25mins 0-5 2reb -11
Melton 0-4 3pt -15
Niang 1-4 3pt -10
Reed -13

Biggest difference between the 17/18 Rockets and the 22/23 76ers is that Pringles could maximize his players while Doc is literally a bungling doofus that just repeats the same cliche mantras every timeout

The brilliance of Embiid/Harden PNR (talent wise, they have no creativity from a coaching perspective) actually carries this team so hard

You say "good luck without home court" as if the Sixers don't have the best road record in the NBA this season....

Absolutely no issue with Milwaukee, even though they're really the "team to beat" this season. That would be a fun matchup, Sixers have beaten them the past two games (2-1 on the season). Giannis can't just drop his shoulder and run through Embiid like he does everyone else, Milwaukee fans have made it clear they don't want the Sixers in the playoffs because of matchup.

Boston is a bigger challenge because of the matchup, i'm also nowhere near as scared of them because of how far they've fallen off and how much better the Sixers have gotten. At this point, there isn't a team that we're avoiding, everyone can get the smoke.

Giannis hates Harden probably more than any other player in the league and we are more afraid of Boston because of their wing depth and shot creators (JB, Tatum, Brogdon, White, Smart)

The 76ers do have Embiid as a better anchor against Giannis but their coach is an actual buffoon, one of the few Eastern playoff matches where I'm confident Bud is the better coach

Also... if the 76ers face Milwaukee it will be after a month of playoff intensity on Embiid's legs. We would love it if Philly knocked out Boston for us and then Embiid is gassed

You have the weirdest takes with this free throw thing, as if it's a bad thing. That's like saying the best teams in the league are too reliant on scoring more points than the other team to win games lol.

More free throws = a good thing

Free throws are a result of being fouled.

Being fouled = defense could not properly defend you, therefore resorting to defending aggressively and needing to foul to prevent a bucket.

We are spoiled watching a generational talent, and one of the most talented bigs to ever lace em up. He's a 7'1'' center who can play like a wing, face up, and shoot faders with the best of em. His footwork is unbelievable. He drops 30+ literally every single game (every game in March - except for the Bulls game where they benched him at half because of blowout) over double and triple teams nightly.

If he was on the Celtics you'd be walking around with an erection 24/7. Unfortunately for you, you'll never know what it's like to have a talent like this, or what it's like to have an MVP caliber player. ;)

76ers are 5th in the NBA in FTA per game :bonk:

But nobody is better at making them, they're #1 in that (83.5%) which puts them at #1 in FTM per game.

I would normally agree, but Embiids fouls are debatable at best. Most of them are flops or at minimum exaggerating contact. It hasn’t really worked for the 76ers this far into his career, I can’t see how far it will get them with this Play style.
