my point is if stamina and load management are genuine concerns why is he playing 40 minutes in a game that is well in hand? no reason other than to pump his stats

Embiid #1 in the NBA in PPG again at 33.3 PPG. Back to back scoring titles?

Harden could win the assist title too. Currently averaging 10.3 APG only behind Haliburton (10.8).

3 of the top 4 in the league in turnovers per game (Embiid, Giannis, and Morant) are also 3 of the top 4 in USG%. Not exactly a surprise considering Embiid and Giannis get doubled more often than anyone else in the NBA.

The only one top 4 in USG% that isn't top 4 in turnovers per game is...Luka

James Harden has been cooking in isolation this season. After a down season in 21/22 where he averaged "only" 1.07PPP in ISOs, he is now averaging 1.26PPP for the season, the highest of anyone with over 2 ISOs per game. Efficient at a high volume.

Finally healthy.

Do you know how USG% is calculated? Turnovers are literally a part of the formula, hence why their USG is so high.

Side note: free throw attempts are also a part of the calculation, again them 4 players you mentioned are also the top 4 highest FTA players in the league as well (coincidentally some of the top floppers in the league too). So yeah, you bringing up USG% and not understanding how it works is about as irrelevant as Hydro bringing it up yesterday.

Secondary side note: Having a high USG% while simultaneously having low TO averages and elite TS% really dictates how effective an offensive scorer is. There is one player that fits this category…. Can’t think of who this would be though

Their USG% is not so high because of their turnovers though, that's only a part of the calculation.

Also, take a look at TOV% and you'll see Embiid is nowhere near the top. In fact, there are 64 players in the league who have a higher TOV% than him including Draymond, Jokic, PG, Smart, KAT, Brogdon, Adebayo, Lillard, etc.

Now I know you're not talking up your boy Jayson "Rudy Gay" Tatum when he has more TURNOVERS over his last 11 games than he does assists rofl. His AST% is 18.4% which is 68th in the NBA and you're out here talking this guy up like he's Luka or something.

That’s the MVP favourite right now. Put some respect on his name buddy.
