Butler is better than all of those other guys, and he only left because Simmons had no work ethic lmfao.

Bench should end up looking like this:

Shake Milton
Furkan Korkmaz
Danny Green
Georges Niang
Paul Reed/Paul Millsap

Plenty of offense with that group, just not a whole lot of defense.

But that's the point. Instead of losing Jimmy for nothing, we ended up getting Richardson who was then traded for Curry who was then traded as part of the deal for Harden. So it all worked out.

In reality though, Harden is a much better fit for Embiid. Butler isn't a floor spacer, he does most of his damage at the rim or in the mid-range, but he's a bad 3pt shooter who rarely shoots threes (which made it funny that he was paired next to Simmons). Harden is all about either threes or attacking the rim, not much in between (hence his efficiency over the past few years).

Idk where the fat and out of shape thing even came from. Harden has some of the best conditioning in the NBA and plays huge minutes every season.

Harden is great. To me, this game is really the only major knock on his legacy.
