Maxey getting that MAXey

Good news is he's eligible for a new deal when Tobias deal runs out after next season, so all good there.

Yep, he's a great addition. Solid well-rounded offensive game and a terrific defender.

The upgrade from Matisse Thybulle to De'Anthony Melton is pretty substantial for the Sixers. Similar defensive playmaking, but vastly more offensive utility.

Can play starter's minutes when needed. Even more short-roll juice as a screener for Harden. Versatile off-ball option.

It’s been massive. The fact that he can shoot makes him more useful than Thybulle. Not playing 4 on 5 on offense anymore when he’s in the game. Like his defense as well. He brings a lot to the table overall

"Despite missing 5 of the 76ers 14 games so far this season, James Harden is 4th in isolation points in the NBA this year. He has led the league in total isolation points in six of the seven seasons for which we have play-type data. Harden has scored more isolation points individually than EVERY other team during that span (since 2015-16)."
