they aren't completely symmetrical sure, but I think there is a great deal of misplaced malcontent with KD's decision vs how Kawhi's decision to leave Toronto for LAC is looked upon much more favorably
I get why people think it's snakelike to join a stacked squad but KD was a FA with complete control
he also didn't have management empty the cupboards then dip the second things dried up like LBJ, he had a legitimate grievance against OKC's management being extremely cheap. the way KD left Brooklyn was worse
idk to me Durant was stuck in an organization that didn't have the willingness to win(OKC not Brooklyn), whereas Kawhi had the
organization country of Canada ready to give everything to compete and coddle him... it would sit wrong with me as a fan of the Raps whereas with OKC I would understand KD's decision more
