The national media always criticizes James Harden's playoff failures. A lot of times he produces big stats but he's exhausted.
People will say he quit in that elimination game against the Spurs back in 2017. He had nothing left physically in that game.

And to be perfectly honest with you James Harden has done a lot in the playoffs. Four Western Conference Finals appearances and one NBA Finals appearance. He simply ran into a lot of great teams including the big three in Miami and the big four in Golden State. Even losing to the Spurs in 2017 wasn't anything to sneeze at. They had a really amazing team full of talent. The worst team Harden lost to in the playoffs was that Damian Lillard Portland team which you can make a case had two all-star players.

This is the first time James Harden is going to enter the playoffs with a lot of energy and he's in the best shape of his life.
He also lost a lot of weight prior to arriving at the Disney bubble. Russell Westbrook is in the same unique position.

I'll put it to you this way. Four months ago if James Harden took off his shirt you'd say, "OMG! That's a sloppy dad bod!"
If James Harden takes off his shirt right now you would say, "OMG! He looks like a Greek God. Like a younger LeBron!"

TL:DR - Yes, every team is facing the same set of circumstances but no other team has two MVP players that are constantly denounced as playoff chokers.

He looked gassed after 30 minutes.

You really have no clue do you. I think you have some sort of learning disability.

Please get the hell out of here before I do something crazy that I regret! I'm not in the mood for this BS right now.
It's called playing a thrilling third game in five nights. All three went down to the wire including overtime vs. Dallas.
If you read my posts on the other thread I'm just fine with the loss to Portland. I even praised them multiple times.

I'm proud of the Houston Rockets tonight even though they lost 110-102 to Portland. They battled hard and came from behind to make it a 1 point game late, but Portland ended the game on a 7-0 run. The Rockets simply ran out of gas. It's the NBA and it happens. Three amazing regular-season games so far at the Disney bubble! I can't complain at all. Still five more games to go.

If the 2020 NBA Playoffs are going to play out the same way these three regular-season games against the Mavericks, Bucks and Trail Blazers have gone... I'll either have all gray hair or no hair at all by the time the Rockets finish up their 7-game series in every round. All that matters right now are the playoffs. I can't wait for August 17.

It's impressive the Rockets are 3-1 at the Disney bubble without Eric Gordon playing any game yet.
And then Russell Westbrook is out a couple games. I'm not sure if he'll play on Sunday vs. the Kings.

James Harden is making a late push for the MVP. It'll probably go to Giannis or LeBron though.
I also feel like Damian Lillard should garner more respect and be in the MVP conversation. Oh well.
Should be another top 3 MVP finish for Harden. He's been top 2 four times and won it once before.
