Kobe is a super inefficient volume scorer with overall poor postseason performance.

I value efficiency and versatility, just like every intelligent GM.

What’s about Stephs efficiency and versatility in being able to score from anywhere? Pretty sure every intelligent gm would’ve signed up for kobe or steph because they are winners. These dudes have likely cost “intelligent gms” their real GM jobs. Keep drinking your haterade.

Stephs inability to guard in today's game is a hinderance, but yes if i was a GM, He would be a player i am seeking, even though his deficiencies on the defense end. Which is why i think he will ultimately fall in the top 8-12 players of all time, assuming he can get another ring before he retires, with him as the center piece. If he doesnt, he will be in the 15-20 range. Thus far, it has been proven that he isnt enough to lead a team to a championship.

It’s been proven that lebron, giannis, kd, harden, ect. ect. isn’t enough to win a championship. There is like one dude on the list for modern nba, that being Kawhi and it was kind of flukey. You need some good homies to win it all brother. But I don’t 100% disagree with what you’re saying about their deficiencies at all, I’m just saying everyone has them when you start over dissecting things on the all time list.

Michael Jordan started out his career in the watered down 80's where teams averaged 110pts+ per game like today's league. He's career scoring averages also decreased over the years as he approached the 90's.
Jordan's 37 ppg came in 1987 when teams averaged 110 ppg. Same with James Harden 36 ppg in 2019.

Let's compare Kobe's 35.4 ppg in 2006 when teams averaged only 97 ppg.

What im trying to say is if MJ and Kobe played in the same era, Kobe would've dominated MJ in term of scoring and offense.

If both kobe and MJ played 1 on 1 today. MJ would win easily. Kobe wouldn't score a single bucket. It would be 7/11/15/21-0
Kobe cant hang with MJ and he's only 42. where MJ is 58.
Therefore kobe is trash.

I agree with this final line.

But MJ would win because Kobe is dead.

You realize he shot less than league average throughout his career.

And shots considerably less than what the league average is now.

Kobe the most overrated player ever.

Volume scorer that is inefficient and road the coat tails of other greats.

Curry can only play on 1 side of the ball. Idk where he lands, but probably 8-12. Curry greatest shooter. But that’s only 1 part of the game.

THis is a dumb shit argument only casuals make if you say that, then you have to apply that same argument to the following players:

AD
Shaq
Bosh
Lebron
Ray Allen
Durant
Kevin Garnett
Igoudala

The list goes on

This dumb argument that you make against Kobe is really a scrub argument. Its talking head ignorant dumb take is what it is.

Oh and guess what Kobe has more rings than anyone I just listed. *drops mic*

stop this nonsense.

Here is a list I think you are looking for, this is the list of players that have won when they were the only allstar on the team that year:

Rick barry
Elvin Hayes
Isaiah Thomas
Michael Jordan
Olajuwon
Tim Duncan
Ben Wallace
Dirk
Lebron James

I guess these are your top 9 then
