Embiid 9 straight games with 30+ points, the longest streak in the NBA this season and a new 76ers franchise record. The record was previously held by Iverson and Wilt Chamberlain (8 games).

He hasn't even needed to play in the 4th quarter the last two games. Scoring 30+ through 3 quarters like it's nothing. 76ers 8 game win streak.

how many of vs Phoenix, Milwaukee, Denver, Golden State, and Boston does he play to finish out the season? if its less than 4 he shouldn't get it

At this rate, he'll play every game for the remainder of the season unless he actually gets injured, unless there's no need for the final games (because seeding is already decided, etc). He just played and dominated in b2b on the road, but thankfully got to sit out the 4th quarter of each because they were blowouts.

He has played in 22 of the last 23 games.

I wouldn't mind seeing him get some rest at the end of the season if possible. Don't want to lose this momentum though.

and he has played in 55 games on average for his 7 year career, never played 70 games once and wont this year either

it certainly isn't outlandish to think that he could miss some games yet

Whatever it takes to keep him healthy, he looks pretty damn good right now and has been resting late in games because they've been dominating.

I'd rather a healthy Embiid for the playoffs over a regular season MVP award. Although both would be nice.
