The Rockets will turn it around though. They're just going through a rough stretch is all.
Mike D'Antoni said in his press conference after the game, "We can turn this around."

I just got this alert from my local KHOU-11 news app on my iPhone. I'm turning my phone off. LOL

James Harden is shooting 27.0% from three (20/74) in the last two weeks.
The Rockets have lost 4 of the last 5 games. A players only meeting will be held.
"Nobody is in panic mode because we understand the talent on this team." - Clint Capela

I'm just hoping the Rockets find a way to beat the Thunder tomorrow afternoon. We've got to end this mess sooner or later.

Why is James Harden so chill though? He has the most calm attitude I've ever seen following another tough loss.
I'm trying to remember when James Harden changed his hairstyle? It's around the time his shooting went south.

The Rockets next 7 games are brutal: Thunder, Nuggets, at Timberwolves, at Nuggets, at Jazz, at Trail Blazers, Mavericks.

It's so disheartening and disappointing the lack of effort the Rockets continue to show.
I'm going to be so upset if they drop to 1-5 in their last 6 games with a loss to OKC today.

The Rockets were down 20-10 but ended the first quarter on a nice 15-2 run...

So the Rockets lead 25-22 after the 1st quarter. Hopefully that's the spark they need.
If James Harden and Russell Westbrook can both dominate they'd be hard to beat.

Harden has been struggling with his three-point shot for a little over two weeks now.

Thunder 112, Rockets 107 - Final

The Thunder out-scored the Rockets 41-20 in the 4th quarter, including a 27-7 run to end the game.
James Harden shot 1-for-17 from threes. What percentage is that. So close to 0 %. I'm speechless.

We had a 17-point lead in the 4th quarter! We were in position to end our losing streak.

I have no words. The Rockets are 1-5 in their last 6 games. What the hell happened to this team guys?
The Rockets are currently the 6th seed. We may drop to the 7th seed soon if the Thunder catch us.

14th Jan 2019: James Harden missed 16 threes (1-17). It ties the most missed threes in a game in NBA history (Damon Stoudamire), and it's the worst 3-point FG pct in a single game in NBA history (min. 15 attempts).

21st Jan 2019: James Harden was 1-17 from three, tying himself for the most missed threes in a game in NBA history.

He'll do anything to get his stats up, regardless if it helps the team win or not. If he's having a cold night, he doesn't give a damn, he will keep chucking to try and get his 30. If you're a fan of Harden you are loving it, you have lots of pretty numbers to look at come the end of the season (as long as you don't look at efficiency). If you are a fan of the team, you know exactly where this is heading.

If the Houston Rockets win at Minnesota tonight it will be two wins in a row. The last time they had a winning streak of any kind was back in early January. The funny thing is if the Rockets can just put together a modest winning streak they could quickly go from the 6th seed to the 3rd seed. They only have two more losses than the 3rd-seeded Clippers. Beating the Nuggets the last game to end their four-game losing streak was huge!

With the exception of the Lakers and the red-hot Jazz, nobody is really running away with the Western Conference. So I think there's still a lot of hope for the Rockets despite their recent losing skid. Maybe they'll figure out how to make a good trade before the deadline in two weeks.

Any quality trade they can make will likely involve their future first-round picks and a combination of salaries from the guys they rarely play. Salary fillers like Nene Hilario. The Rockets can offer their first-round pick in 2020 and 2022 in any deal at the deadline. That 2022 pick could be interesting. No guarantee the Rockets will be good that year. That could potentially be a lottery pick. The 2020 pick this summer will likely be in the 20 to 25 range.

I could see Daryl Morey surprising people at the NBA trade deadline and pulling off a stunner! His DNA is a trade machine!

Also the on-and-off again trade rumors for Robert Covington are interesting. He's probably a long shot for us though.
