You do realize Embiid isn't the one who has selected rest days, etc....right?

I've seen you suggest some wild things but this takes the cake.

He might not have suggested it, but players can and do refuse to rest

just like players can impose their will to check themselves into blowouts to chase streaks, even when there is risk of injury

Yeah man, because Embiid is really sitting there strategically avoiding "good" opponents. Who tf is stopping him? He's dropping 30+ ON EVERYONE.

Guy just shit on the Nuggets, AGAIN. But he's dodging who exactly?

It's a WILD narrative thay Cory is feeding into here.

It's only wild in your head because you ignore all evidence. He has missed 75% of all potential elevation games for a reason, acting like it is all a big coincidence is pure nonsense.

In the 25% of elevation games Embiid has played, he fouled out multiple times and had poor shooting percentages in all but one game and a decent shooting percentage for another, the rest were putrid.

We're talking about the same guy who sees a drop in PPG, rebounds, assists, and shooting percentages in the playoffs every year.

SHOCKING that a regular season foul baiter who is basically the center version of James Harden would fold in the playoffs every year just like his predecessor.

The truth is Embiid gets more space to take his little mid range jumpers and 3s DURING THE REGULAR SEASON ONLY because defenders are afraid to get touch calls that only Embiid gets. When the playoffs come around, those soft calls largely go away and defenders can actually pressure Embiid. No surprise that he shoots 28% from 3 in the playoffs and 46% from the floor.

Embiid absolutely dominating the league and destroying Jokic has you FURIOUS.

Also, he doesn't see a decline in numbers in the playoffs EVERY season. He has had seasons where he's even better, let alone defensively where he can anchor the defense next level. But in reality, he has played injured most of the time in the playoffs which is obviously the main concern.

You listened to Stan Van Gundy hate commentary too much last night lol.

Lol he's inconsistent, yes. Dominant at times, falls off at others. Also plays through injuries entirely too much.

One thing is for certain, he now plays for a head coach who knows how to run a real offense with real ball movement. Unlike old man Doc who couldn't manage to make adjustments or implement off ball movement to save his life. Made doubling and tripling Embiid way too easy.

Completely agree Nurse and Maxey are complimentary for Embiid's success, like Tupac said all eyes on him to prove it in the playoffs now
