"Some 76ers fans have their hopes up high with word that Chicago Bulls and two-time All-Star Zach LaVine have increased their openness about exploring a trade. But they may have to push the pause button for a moment. The Sixers may investigate his potential availability, but it is unclear if there is a fit with him orany of the Bulls high-salary players. Sixers president of basketball operations Daryl Morey has made public comments that any acquisition the team makes would have to be a two-way player. Right now, Chicago’s top players don’t fit that description. In addition, Tyrese Maxey and Joel Embiid are leading the hottest team in the NBA. At 8-1, the Sixers have the league’s best record. And they have a league-best, eight-game winning streak. Sources have said the Sixers are pleased with their early play and newfound depth, and likely will wait until later in the season to explore trade opportunities when needs will be more evident or to shore the team up in event of an injury. The Sixers believe a patient approach also aligns with the fact that they’re expected to have more cap space than any contender this offseason."

I'm not sure how great the fit is tbh. Imagine the price tag is pretty high also

Yeah, I don't really want LaVine. I want OG.

Lavine is good but he gives us nothing defensively in the playoffs. It'll be a problem.

I wouldn't be mad if they got him...but let's not take that on if we can get someone that fits better.

Gordon Hayward would be a great fit. Cheaper than Lavine, does a bit of everything, more consistent.

Damn. That game was brutal to watch. Jojo really has trouble with old man Horford. Too many open threes. Credit to Celtics for making the wide open 3s.

Rough game to watch on a b2b. Horford was making it rain with those threes at the worst times.

Anyways, get some rest and get back on track.

Good read about Maxey from The Ringer:
