You guys seriously just don't get it and are so oblivious to how brainwashed you are. You literally have no clue what is going on apart from the biased snippets you've read. Try to open your mind and get your head out of your 'MuricASS

I mean you yourself are not entertaining any notion that your perspective is biased, incomplete, or mistaken. You immediately dispel any criticism as a result of the critic being brainwashed and uninformed.

If you were trying to start a discussion, then you went about it the wrong way. When a speaker walls themselves off from opposing viewpoints and remains rooted in their own biases and beliefs, then they're only going to elicit similar attitudes and responses in turn. Rather, the speaker should be open to other viewpoints and discuss issues rather than attack the critic's character, which makes anything they have to say invalid before they even say it.

Essentially what you're trying to do here is have a one-sided discussion in which you act as the sole arbiter of truth and dispenser of information while everyone else listens passively as an empty vessel to be filled with information, which is much less of a discussion and more of a lecture.

What you should do is point out everything remotely resembling gayness, all the time. And make sure to post about it.

To be fair, wouldn’t anyone be frustrated trying to have open conversation only to be met with some of the trolling in this thread? Some of the posters on this forum are pretty much incapable of having an open conversation and that is putting it generously.

Well yeah, trying to have a serious discussion on D2jsp is setting yourself up for a bad time.

But on top of that, probably close to 90% of the users here are from the U.S. with a few random Europeans and a couple Australians thrown in there. Judson's audience was bound to be critical of the Chinese narrative on the protesters. Given this, why even start a conversation if you won't accept any criticism.

Well that’s facts. It’s easy to get caught up in ones emotions, I think Judson was bold to stand firm on his beliefs but agree that he could have been a bit more tactful responding to trolls and criticism. At any rate I’m grateful for his perspective from a vantage point I could never understand myself.

True. We only benefit from sharing perspectives, even if we don't agree with them.
