2.5 back in the division

3 game series against the Braves starting tomorrow night. It all comes down to this. Need to take at least 2 of the 3, minimum. Sweep would be nice rofl.

Then Phillies play Marlins and and Braves play Mets to close out the season.

Nobody, literally nobody, thought or said the Phillies were going to make the playoffs though.

They were literally in first place with like a 4 or 5 game lead less than two months ago and they had the easiest remaining schedule in all of baseball second half of the season lol

Again, less than two months ago they had extremely high statistical chances of winning the division and/or winning the wildcard.

Up until a few days ago they were literally 1 or 1.5 games back in the division with a series against the Braves (keep in mind they were 9-7 against the Braves this season).

No chance? I'd say being a game out with only a few games remaining is a pretty good chance. Make it make sense.
