Joe Girardi is hot garbage man

I was at the game last night, everyone and their grandmother knew Wheeler was gassed after 8 innings. Ian Kennedy was warmed up and ready to come in the 9th inning in a tie game. Why the FUCK would you leave Wheeler out there?

-Peace

I was at the game too. The crowd was chanting "at least we have the Eagles" and "let's go Tampa." It was insane.

Phillies end the season with a series against Atlanta, that's going to be a good one.

For Atlanta.

The Philadelphia Phillies get the series sweep against the Washington Nationals after overcoming a 6 run deficit yesterday. Today was the Phillies' 7th consecutive game with 7 or more runs, which is the longest streak since June of 1933.

Wow, just amazing. 7 consecutive games of 7+ runs with this lineup LOL. No Rhys Hoskins for the rest of the season which we thought might be the final blow, but here we are with half a triple-A lineup the other night dropping a 12 piece in one game. Unbelievable, these guys don't know they're not supposed to be hitting like this.

Bryce Harper is on a mission to carry this team to the playoffs too.

The Phillies took a series from the Nats a few weeks ago and you Philly fans started planning the parade. Only for them to promptly lose ground in the division race until they met those same Nats.

Indeed.

8 game win streak, followed up by going 4-11 in their following 15 games after that, and now followed up by another 6 game win streak.

Roller coaster of a season. Still only 2 games out of 1st place in the NL East, and 2 games out of the wild card. With remaining series against Miami, Milwaukee, Colorado, Cubs, Mets, Baltimore, Pittsburgh, Atlanta, and Miami. Favorable schedule remaining, so there's a chance.

Blast the Brewers 12-0 one night, then turn around the next night and they return the favor with a 10-0 ass whooping.

This fucking team is unbelievable, just a straight up roller coaster season.

No one thinks this phillies team is going anywhere. But it's fun to be in contention for the playoffs. Not something the Phillies have had for awhile.

Phillies blew their 29th save of the season last night, and they're now just 5 blown saves away from the all-time single season record. SMh... :wallbash:

The Phillies have had a lead in 106 of their 140 games this season. By comparison, San Francisco – with a 19-game lead over Philadelphia for the best record in baseball – has led in 109 of their 140 games on the year.

Phillies were down 0-7 in the 3rd inning last night to the Chicago Cubs.

Ended up winning the game 17-8.

They are the first NL team in the modern era to trail by 7+ runs in a game but end up winning by 9+ runs. They're also the first team to come back from a 0-7 deficit TWICE in the same season.

NOT GOING DOWN EASY
