I know I'll get alot of hate for only watching dubbed anime but I'm playing games as I watch and dont focus enough to read it all. Here's some animes I like/dislike for reference.

I've watched some of it, not all that much it's just hard for me to get over naruto's dubbed voice. But this is the one I've been considering

So basically any of the 90s dubbed gundams or ghost in the shell series

Back when dubs were tolerable

Here are a couple off the top of my head

Code Geass - Mech show that focuses on strategy more than anything else, similar to Death Note in some ways.
Naruto - Not a great show, but it seems like you REALLY like shonen, so you should give it a shot.
My Hero Academia - Great shonen, better than Bleach, One Piece Fairytale, and Naruto by a mile
Black Clover - Same as the above.
Full Metal Alchemist - You should check out the original as well, Brotherhood is better, but they're both worth watching. They'll seem the same at first, they're not.
Berserk (Original) - Bit dated, but everyone who's into anime should watch this show
Sirius the Jaeger - Not as good as the other shows, but you liked Seven Deadly Sins, so maybe you'll like this too (Netflix show)

When you say you disliked Hellsing, were you watching Hellsing, or Hellsing Ultimate? There's a pretty big fucking difference.
Also curious on JoJo, did you get past the first season? I had to force myself through the first arc, just didn't like the style or the characters all that much, but it gets sooooo much better.



I'll never understand this stance. Back in the late 80s/90s, is when they changed the content of shows/movies far too often when dubbing, thus changing the narrative or a character's portrayal and starting the whole "Omg, if you don't want sub, you don't know anything about anime." bullshit. Plenty of dubs are superior to their subbed counterparts from a writing standpoint, you may dislike the voice actors, but that doesn't mean dubs are all bad.

I did not get past the first season of jojo's, the animation style and just the way the main character carrys himself didn't do it for me. I was watching helsing ultimate I think the reason I didn't enjoy it is because it's slow, as I said before I watch as I play video games and you seem to have to pay attention to it more than I was willing to in order to fully enjoy it. Watched berserk and it was alright at first but took a huge left turn and just lost my interest. Seen some of MHA and it's good but I can't understand why so many people think it's the best. I dont dislike it, but it wouldn't be in my top. "Black clover" and "claymore" seem to keep popping up I'll have to check those two out thanks.

It's just above average for a shonen. Bleach, Naturo, Fairytale and One Piece are your big shonen shows, they're all predictable with painfully boring characters and while they're enjoyable at times, they get stale. MHA just does it a bit better, it's nowhere near Hunter x Hunter and I think Black Clover is better as well, but as you like some of the other big shows, I thought I should recommend it.

Just so you know, all the characters except for the antagonist are gone after that first arc of JoJo. You should really give it another shot and at least hold out until the switch to the next generation comes along. Each arc follows a different member of the Joestar family, so if you dislike one, like the boring super annoying first Jonathan, he won't be around for long.

Weird... I've heard Hellsing called a lot of things, but never slow lol. Literally hundreds of people die in both the first and second episodes iirc.


Lmk if you end up liking any of the suggestions, there's more I can come up with for dubbed if I think for a bit.
