A samurai lord has bartered away his newborn son's organs to forty-eight demons in exchange for dominance on the battlefield.
Yet, the abandoned infant survives thanks to a medicine man who equips him with primitive prosthetics—lethal ones with which the wronged son will use to hunt down the multitude of demons to reclaim his body one piece at a time, before confronting his father.

ep 1 was really nice.

Looks interesting.

first episode was enjoyable.

last few eps have been really good.
especially this last one, seeing him suffer from regaining his hearing to the nice girl's nightly job and the outcome of that last fight.

Just started watching.

even though you could guess what was coming it was a pretty good ep.
seeing Hyakkimaru lose himself to emotion was nice for a character that has been mostly emotionless.
that fight (well massacre) was a really nice scene.

pretty brutal, does slaying any demon give him a body part back? Seems like hes randomly traveling and coming across demons, but they all happen to be the ones that have his body parts... idk

by killing the demons Hyakkimaru essential slowly reverses the curse upon him, which in turn results in regaining what was stolen from him.
while at the same time lessening the prosperity his father wished upon the demons to provide for his land. (that's why there's a drought and war brewing)

im not too sure about that.
maybe they were scattered to 48 demons on that specific land? which is why he keeps regaining body parts fast. (finding demons with his limbs/organs?)
i mean how many demons can be on one part of land
