izana went for the girl route
a new 'daughter' tsumugi lol
everyone lives together
izana was going to die, then nagate saves her
and then encounter Benisuzume in episode 10 & 11, shit looks bad for nagate

there was a part in one of the episodes where this guy http://myanimelist.net/character/3762/Killy appeared on a tv series the characters were watching, lol
(you can see on myanimelist link -- on the left side, sidonia no kishi is on the list)

I started watching this and caught up pretty fast.

I'm not use to the art style so I can't say if I like it or not.
Everything else is pretty solid though ^-^

Love a lot of it, can't find anything to hate on the top of my head.

this anime is worth it just for the space scenery and space combat, it has some of the most chill inducing scenes I can remember from any anime I watched
