It isn't discontinued, it's on hiatus due to the author's health concerns. Pretty big difference, as one means one is no longer being produced period/end of life, while the other means that it's on a break. It could be another decade before we get another anime arc, but at no point has he said he was quitting it.

Yeah true.
But I remember the main reason being a compilation of heavy taxes/made enough money.

Basically he mentioned having to pay 70% of his revenue as tax. But who knows.

Im pretty sure he's openly stated it's due to health problems. Ever since he burnt himself out being a control freak with YuYu he's had issues. I could also be mistaken and as someone who doesn't speak the language and is getting information via bad translations or second hand lol, it's entirely possible Im talking out of my ass, but that's what I thought the deal was.
