it's a overhype series that's average at best.

Gun Gale Alternative though was actually pretty good, thanks to it being written by a different author so the characters were alot better.

though since i'm already in this deep i might as well continue watching it. (at least for a bit to see if it actually lives up to it's premise)
Alicization though make for a interesting story, since it cuts out the rest of the cast other than lame MC Kirito to my knowledge and isn't based around a VRMMO instead it's like a artificial world (it's basically an Isekai this time around)
so if anything it'll actually be a bit more entertaining than the previous seasons hopefully.
plus you get to see Kirito basically die at the start which is funny.
