It meant nothing. Nothing meant fucking anything.

The show needed minimum 3 more episodes to not be crap. Ideally another season.

I was super on board with the final episode for the first ~40 minutes then it just turned so garbage.

They did a really good job making Dany seem like a Hitler figure starting WW2 and then immediately ended it before it went anywhere.

And wtf was with that entire Sam suggesting a democracy bs? Like congrats writers you accurately wrote how people with power would react to a suggestion they give up their power. Maybe write a better ending instead of wasting time with that bs.

Also Arya the thing that's West of Westeros is the fucking Eastern area of the Dothraki desert and those other aids places. Or they pulling the typical Elf trope bs of it being a paradise not for humans. Either way it's crap, they needed more time to address her trauma to make her leaving make sense.

Then they end it with like a 5 minute "comedy" scene talking about brothels, good fucking use of the time there guys.

wut? they don't know what's west of wessos because it's uncharted territory, it's not like they've already sailed all the way west around their earth and ended up back in essos, arya just wants to explore and find new places because like she said repeatedly, the noblewoman life isn't for her

sorta did cringe at both the democracy and brothel bits though ngl tbh

Thinking that no one has ever gone West of Westeros in the 10,000+ year long recorded history, including fucking dragon riders, is just insane, it makes literally no sense.

So either the world is round and people who have made the journey were underwhelmed, or its the Elven Paradise bs like in LOTR. Either way it's garbage and makes no sense to happen so suddenly.

I think my ranting is a bit misdirected. Like I think Arya going west is stupid, and thinking it's unexplored is stupid. But I'm fine with it, I'm just not on board with how it happened. Like if they had another season of Jon sticking by Dany and Arya being traumatized and having nightmares of the dragon and the city destruction etc and losing trust in Jon cuz of his loyalty to Dany. Turn her leaving would feel good. But with the writing it is like she is just leaving cuz that's what GRRM said that her character was going to do.

If you thought it was fine, you havent paid attention to the serie. You have the right to have your opinion but it was really bad. The season went downhill really fast and really bad with a lot of really bad ending to story arcs.
