You care? Oh my heart bleeds for you. I was actually discussing Actors from GoT earlier... how is it a spoiler that one of them appears in another movie. Wow, at least I didn't say his role or anything like that in JW3 thread or here.

I don't care personally. It's just the principle.

Do you think the majority of criticism received so far is fair? Or do you think it's just a lot of band wagon hate for a show everyone secretly still loves, but can't let go of?

I mean we've reached the climax. Climax, by definition is the end product of years of character building and plot developments. It has to end. Accept it.

I see loads of people saying this season is mad rushed.. but again, it's the climax? We dont need slow journeys full of dialogue now, character/plot development.. we're past it.

People who nit-pick, some of them do make really good points, i mean nothing is perfect if you scrutinise it enough. But that's all it is, nit-picking.

Me personally, i sit down each week, i watch the epsiodes and i'm a ball of excitement. This season has been brilliant, different, but brilliant. I'm glad i still enjoy the show, and if all the hate is actually genuine, i feel sorry for these people.

There is probably some bandwagoning

But the one thing that I think everyone should be able to agree on is that Episode 3, plot wise, was an abomination.
7 seasons of build up then he shows up and dies in 5 minutes.\
Meanwhile, about 10 main characters are shown completely surrounded for the entire last 20 minutes of the episode yet nothing happens to them. If they are going to make them survive at least make them work together and have it be believable instead of just stuck in a corner surrounded for half the episode.

Episode 1 decent
Episode 2 fantastic
Episode 3 ignores 7 seasons of buildup.

That's not the response I'm going for...

Here's another one...

After Dany dies, Drogon will become a loose cannon. Ep6 will mostly be a time lapse of Drogon and his new brood eating most of the people in Westeros over the next 50 years. Survivors will be forced to find shelter in caves. The final scenes of the series will create a seamless transition into the beginning of the movie Reign of Fire

Jon kills Drogon before they kill of Danearys and Jon dies also... Arya kills Daenerys... and no... Reign of Fire died out from the memories of humans.

I was already cracking up after the first one. "Plausible," the fuck lol.

It is plausible... damn I never know what is going on in the mind of women... not sure if the writer or one or more selection of writers are women.

Don't worry... I say the darnedest things at times, whether appropriate or just stupid.

Must be just your principle then, because no one else replied in that matter.

I do apologize if it ruined your surprise that an actor from GoT appeared in a great movie like John Wick Chapter 3 that was recently released.

I see how some have massive issues with that, especially the NK arc. I thought episode was great personally.

But he has no book counter-part, so (for GRRM) he was never meant to be the big bad guy.. even though the show (and perhapes even more so the fans) built him up to be. People expected mysterious answers spelled out to them by Bran, i think the majority of fans also wanted a cliche hero vs villain fight to the death too, another reason for the saltyness. I think it was great that arya did it in the way she did.

He's a side quest, the overwhelming story has always been the throne.

As for the ridiculous scenes of main characters surrounded - yea i can't really defend it, should have been portrayed better.
Although i should say those scenes didnt get too much screen time, we just saw them intermittently (i guess to build tension). Focusing on this too much is what i meant by nitpicking.

@bold

It doesnt ignore it, you just didnt like the result of said build up.

Near the end of ep6, Bran will travel back in time to the beginning of Season7 and unmake all the events we saw play out over those 2 seasons. We then time jump back to the present, but we don't know how those events played out in this new timeline.

We see Sam in his study writing the history of all those events (battles, deaths) for the Citadel's records.

Little Sam walks in the room and sits at the table across from Sam. The camera is oriented behind him and above his head. He says "dad can you tell me a story".

Sam pushes the book across the table, looking at his son (and also at the camera) and says "If you want to know the real story, you'll have to read the books"

Missed this one... like it.

Is the step-son named Sam? I forgot. When I read it, I was thinking a decade may have past and the youngest one would then be Jon, or Sam (short for samantha). Don't mind me, my mind wonders off occasionally and thinks of other things.

My fav part is when someone is completely surrounded by 100 dudes then they cut away and in the next shot there are 3 who are all standing directly in front of said person
