After having time to process everything I realized one criticism that this episode brings to light.

In retrospect, Bron's participation in this season is now kinda useless right?

His 2nd scene was fairly entertaining in its own right. But what's the payoff for the crossbow now? There is no way that he can collect a debt from Jaime/Cersei.

It's nearly impossible for Tyrion to be in a position to give him anything.

Are you just asking so you can post spoilers in other places, or are you legit curious? A lot of people died.

E: @kayeto- Not necessarily. Tyrion is most likely fucked, but it's possible he gets out and rules as Jon's hand, in which case he's able to pay Bron what he's owed. Probably not lol, but it's not completely dead yet. He was right to bail on Cersei though.

lol this show has become painfully predictable, they actually went mad queen

will they have the balls to go full mad queen and have dani kill everyone, or will Jon just kill dani and give throne to sansa/bran and go to night watch

only the former could save this season (for me)

too many holes to nit pick so won't even bother

I honestly don't understand how anyone expected this season to be anything other than predictable... That's how a climax works, you're past the twist and turns. Unless you want them to leave a painfully open/vague ending after a decade, then sure, a non-predictable end to the series makes sense.

Predictable yes, but it was an incredibly well done and entertaining episode that delivered. I'm excited for the conclusion.

I will tell you what wasn’t predictable though, how underwhelming Cersei was this season. How many lines did she get lol

Fair enough. Jon will almost assuredly sit on the throne at this point, but here's the list for you.

Varys
The Mountain
The Hound
Cersei Lannister
Jamie Lannister
Euon Greyjoy
Qyburn
The entity of the golden army/iron fleet and all soldiers and civilians in Kings Landing

Lmk if I missed anyone

Right? I mean, I get it, they're trying to focus on the true antagonist/protagonists more for the big finish, Jon/Danny, but it still felt weird... I was happy to see her die like the sniveling coward she is, I thought it was a perfectly fitting end to her reign.

While a lot of this season has been predictable, they've caught all of us off guard with a number of random as fuck things. Some good, some bad.

Arya killing NK versus someone more meaningful is still one of my only major gripes with this season, but it's fine. That being said, I still don't understand why she's still getting more screen time than fucking anyone... Like, we get it, she's in the city, shit's on fire yo, can we see something else?

Cersei dying with her brother's hands around her neck in a loving embrace was a huge offfffffffff course moment, but I still didn't see it coming until Jamie was fighting Greyjoy.

Cersei's army being absolutely decimated like it was fucking nothing, especially after they just landed a sneak attack and killed off 1 of the remaining 2 dragons. I thought they'd put up a bit better of a fight.
