I assumed because I’ve seen so many nerds bitching that this show was already out, but it turns out it was just the usual anti-everything, loud minority

Yeah that could be possible but not at all what all this initial backlash on the internet seemed to be about. These nerds were screeching at trailers when the show wasn’t even out, so I hardly doubt their critiques were ever about the quality of the story… because again, the show wasn’t even out yet. How are these master class critics judging something they haven’t even had the chance to watch yet?

It is definitely worth watching if you liked the movies/books or just like fantasy shows.

The hate it is getting is from people who haven't even watched it.

The first two episodes were a solid 7.5-8/10.
