It started out strong. There were a lot of great scenes throughout, both in terms of creative storytelling and straight up humor.
But things really faltered near the end. It devolved into a string of cheesy tropes you expect in a bad movie.
The actual conclusion to the S3 story was not much of an ending. It left things ambiguous and unexplained, but not in the "cliffhanger" type of way that made me want more. It felt more like that point in a show where it loses it's momentum and starts making me yawn at seeing the same formula recycled repeatedly.
Completely agree. The whole thing felt way too...idk silly, or goofy. It was like a bunch of kids running around Chernobyl while hopper was constantly acting frantic.
It didn’t do it for me.
