Dont get me wrong, I enjoyed the show...don't regret watching

It's not a masterpiece by any means like most are claiming though. kinda close but they failed on a few things to make you actually feel bad for the girl legit in my opinion. (except last 2-3 ish episodes..) when you should of felt bad watching during the WHOLE show

I'll repeat this again, you ARE the problem with today's culture.

1. Not all woman want their asses grabbed or talked about. Men make woman feel incredibly uncomfortable crossing personal boundaries.

2. i do think you're dumb. You complained about her acting during the show, not recognizing the specific pacing of the show. it's obvious and nothing to complain about. Should she have been excluded from the show? surely we would have gotten to know her better if she wasn't even there

3. she didn't play hard to get....where are you getting this from. She flirted with a couple guys she liked like both genders do. Your language and choice of words tells me you're incredibly immature. Not every girl posts half naked pictures on their choice social media platform, you only notice it more because you enjoy it.

4. I wasn't abused 10 times worse than she was, how can you say everyone? How can you judge mental capabilities of other people? You are completely naive.

5. I've been to high school. When I was a sophomore ( i believe), the first iphone came out. Social media was barely a thing. I am sure the high school atmosphere is far worse than it was 10 years ago.

6. Now, I've never cried like a baby during a movie, but are you honestly that scared about showing emotion?

7. I'll repeat, again, males of females of all levels of attractiveness can commit suicide. You are completely disregarding a girl's feelings just because she isattractive. You are literally saying sexual abuse for anattractive female isn't possible. You were literally educated and raised poorly.

8. SHE HAD FRIENDS, jesus christ. You didn't follow the show at all. She had multiple fallouts with several people. she was new at school AND just because you're attractive, it doesn't guarantee you friends.....especially if social rumors arise in the school, like they did in this case.

9. in this show, those "tough guys" ran the school. Pay attention. You fail to realize that bullying in school happens in every single school, and these days......kids just stand around and watch with the cell phones raise waiting to get likes on facebook.

10. She ultimately committed suicide because.....

-she was part of a false rumor sexually, and being called slut for unwarranted reasons.
-she was part of a sexually based "best of class" paper that she didn't want to be a part of. This led to people always staring at her making her feel incredibly uncomfortable among being grabbed by bryce in the store.
-she was being stalked and photographed, and she didn't know why.
-She had fallouts with nearly all of her friends.
-She went on a date who seemed to be genuine and sincere, but he ultimately just wanted to have sex with her because the rumors said she was easy.
-the above instance made her lose so much trust with men
-her parents were stressed and that took a small toll on her, but a larger one after losing money even though it was just a small amount. This just further induces failure in her eyes.
-she had issues with the love life she wished to pursue, and by the time something positive was happening, the level of trust in men had damaged her severely already.
-she was raped. she was raped. she war raped. She was raped by someone who she witnessed rape her ex friend.
-she lost confidence in adults with the guidance councilor (and other adults) not being able to help her. although, she didn't give up the name of the rapist, by the she had already lost all hope. She was hurt that the councilor said that it didn't matter because he would be gone next year, graduated.



She killed herself for the reasons above, and more, not just one relationship with Clay.

You have a horrible sense of what went on this show, and you clearly are a horrible human being who does not understand social issues and how they effect people.

Just in case you haven't been taught.......

Females, attractive or not, are not your play toy. They don't always want you to gesture at them, touch them, make rude, sexual remarks, or even bother them at all if you don't know them.




Try again if you want to argue, you're living in a fantasy world where issues only happen to ugly people.

the fact that you cant get past "she is beautiful" so nothing bad would happen is the point...

it all started out b/c she is a hot chick so every guy wanted to fuck her.. and not know the real her

so after a pic goes around.. all the guys see her as a sex object instead of a person.. which breaks down a person after awhile

being sexually assaulted twice...by the marcus guy in the diner and than byrce in the store and than gets raped by bryce.. and the thing that breaks her is when porter pretty much told her that no one would believe her and to get past it

You said it yourself, you did not shed a single tear until the end, meaning the movie did a poor job at making you feel bad for her either the actions were good or not.

GOING with all she went through, while watching you SHOULD of felt bad and shed tears, but we did not, at all.
Poor execution, I felt sadder watching stuff not as intense as this tv show.

Also I never said the acting was bad, I praised the acting...they were all really good actors.

Honestly, you need to learn some social respect for females. I'm afraid you are the exact target audience that this show hopes to improve.

Im not bashing the fucking show I said I liked it and just wish it made me care more for the girl in the first 9 episodes....a story like this you should feel alot sadder than this when watching

You couldn't be more wrong. I'd said the same freaking thing if the main characters were reversed and the suicide thing was about Cley. it has nothing to do with genders.

As I said, show did a poor job at making you feel bad for her in the first 9 episodes not because of the actions people did to her but mostly her reactions and previous actions and how she handled the situations

Are you going to make me quote the multiple times where you stated that it shouldn't have happened to her because she was attractive? I.E you have no respect for women.


Man, what kind of education are they teaching you guys up the in Canada?
